My training philosophy is based on the fact that participants carry with them previous learning experiences and are not fresh starters. Everyone already has some form of soft skills; some simply just don’t realize it. A closer look inside, will reveal how they communicate and relate to others, what levels of confidence they carry in dealing with people and issues. All these skills are soft and all of them are transferable to the workplace.
I use a “participative” training methodology encouraging “learning by doing” to support behavior change through highly interactive intervention. I believe transformation can be triggered in a training event, but it is regular interventions backed by a solid development plan that can create a lasting transformation that sustains.
Using cases and exercises, I make sure that participants apply the skills and strategies learned and receive intensive coaching and feedback. I use role plays, games, drills, group discussions and other application techniques. I encourage and engage individuals to speak and express themselves thus allowing peer-to-peer learning.
